The Rise of #LavoeREVOLT
Bathed in Flinty beverages
Dehumanized through quaked faultlines of their forefathers
Nourished in raping hurricanes
Vaccine cane hurries sugars through innocence
Sweetens the load
Seeking to spoil the bitter builder
Seeding rebellion
But the salts of sages grip the warrior’s strides
So percents of 85 and greater are ravaged beyond mute
Campana con Conga
Albizu con Allah
Skillastrator sentences set in scrapes
Indigenous and beholden like ScrapLO rushing states
The loudened voice of savages civilized
Is an orchestra on the square
Cornering the enemies of Freedom, Justice, Equality,
Outflanking trans-real, #RespectFAKE and USPA battalions
Til the rise of numbah 4:
I Self Lord and Master
The procession of Poems of Palante pouncing
Sunset Park grass fed LO but Ponce I paraded from…
An #InvisibleRenaissance happens, as now, when MCs don’t need A&Rs who, as an industry of guiding listeners to find, extract and direct the artists of tomorrow to a greater repertoire of illness. But the main sickness shared was the plotting of commercialization they put young mic controllers through. Listening to Numbah 4, a Bronx Dominicano, bi-lingual bars, Lo Life histories and emerging knowledge of self realizations through hells. Intense lyricism, words meaning so much to the MC he runs with little space between them. A life of hell to story, a consciousness against the wrong and a growing enlightenment to the one’s supremacy the theme. Presented in just five songs, how many then would rep that artist to a deserved career? Very few and so released in this era, where we ourselves find our own treasures, need to embrace them.
Numbah 4, also known as Scrap LO, is one we search for, whose level of development is still on the rise and has the greatest A&R an MC can have. That is, now out in Miami, working together with legend Lo brother Thirstin Howl the 3rd, the skill sets and song making crafting can only become greater. The raw proofs are all in The Rise of Numbah 4.
His thematic exclamations are distinct and profoundly pronounced. His unapologetic stance of Boom Bap ethos is immediate on “Supply and Demand” where takes a lead in resurrecting Hip Hop. Clearly Thirstin isn’t the only one with immunity to the Miami music wasteland. “Stray Dogz,” a biographical anthem where his hells and enlightenment are highlighted by his long inflection, an intense enunciation. It leads to clarity on powerful lines as “Black masks, black gloves, what’s the new attire? It was wrong born you truth it was survival/the righteous make their students out of their rivals…” His cadence holds menace and resultant command mightily on “Mental Armour” diving in and out of English and Spanish, never losing enunciation or falling out of pocket. “Round 4” and “Hero 4 Hire” are strong battle tracks that emphasize his ability to flow breathlessly with a chop phrased continuity.
With only five songs, Rise reveals Numbah 4’s theme and mission through the most passionate tempos and intense cadences thrown. Musically, the diversity is limited to the battle zone drum slaps and matching chaotic instrumentation. Still, there is ample proof for listeners that this EP is only a sampler of a great rise.

The organization of these principles around a counterculture, an expressive arts of creation that uplifts the ideas and thoughts of an oppressed people, is why I’m an honored builder amongst legends, knighted by heroes of Medina (Rakim Supreme Shabazz Allah/Rudy Lo, Thirstin Howl the 3rd, Bonz Malone) to further create in my element as a Hip Hop Writer of #ArtOnArt & #ScienceOnMusic. So the world may find love that locks in with the action of loyalty though they may never find another writer with my kind of grammar…
